BUSINESS CAREER
A serial entrepreneur across six decades
Howard’s business career defies easy categorization. Across more than 35 years he has founded, built, and in many cases profitably sold companies in industries as varied as music production, advertising, pet hospitality, software, publishing and brand licensing.
After graduating from John Carroll University, Howard accepted an Executive Analyst position with The George S. May Company — the world’s largest management consulting firm — where he studied hundreds of business models across multiple industries and became recognized as an expert in day-to-day business operations including profit/loss analysis, production, organizational behavior, inventory control and start-up ventures.
His advertising clients at Color Bar included Jacob’s Field, Gund Arena, Burger King, K-Mart, Cleveland Cavaliers, General Electric, Mr. Coffee, Diebold, Reebok, Hertz, the Pro Football Hall of Fame, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the American Cancer Society, Westwood One Radio Network, and Case Western Reserve University, among many others.
Howard also holds a real estate license, insurance license, and public notary certification, and serves on the Board of CLI Creative Licensing International.
