It’s the only time sleeping on the casting director’s couch isn’t just advisable but unavoidable. The Barkley of Cleveland, a luxury pet hotel and day spa located in Orange Village, announced last month that a production company is creating a reality show around the business. “It’s going to feature local personnel, local properties and local pups,” says Barkley founder Howard Perlmuter. There’s no word yet on the show’s format — traditional television or Web-based episodes — but filming for the pilot has begun. Perlmuter’s next big project: opening the Barkley California in early 2010.
